About

My foundation is a background in fine art, and I bring my artistic vision and experience to all of my clients.

When I first studied drawing at Swinburne I developed an interest in portraiture which naturally progressed into a fascination with make-up. To accompany my make-up skills, I then acquired a certificate in hairdressing from Edward Beale so I could offer my clients a complete service.

I have consulted with the fashion and advertising industries for more than two decades, with covers on a range of magazines and publications including the Herald Weekly Times, New Idea, Media Ink (Wedding, Jewellery, Couture, Portfolio) and universal magazine, The Complete Melbourne Wedding.

I have worked with a number of celebrities including the Osbournes, Sophie Monk, Rebecca Judd, Jennifer Hawkins, Delta Goodram and Vanessa Amorosi.

Based on my experience, I believe makeup needs should work on two levels – it must look good photographically, and it must also look good at close range.

As such, natural bridal looks – which are my signature – are a direct result of my artistic intuition, which determines that critical sense of when to stop.

I am a practicing artist, and love painting portraits, which in turn still informs my work as a makeup artist—the face and hair simply serve as other medium in my artistic practice.

My aim is to go beyond beauty to ensure each transformation is a work of art.
